Terms of Service

1. Service Description

ChiefOS ("we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered executive assistant delivered via WhatsApp. The service connects to your Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Drive to proactively manage your schedule, triage your inbox, track tasks, and deliver structured daily briefings.

By creating an account or using ChiefOS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Subscription Terms

ChiefOS is offered as a monthly subscription service with three tiers:

• Essential — $99 per month
• Professional — $199 per month
• Executive — $399 per month

All plans include a 7-day free trial. Payment is processed through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. Prices are in USD and do not include applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use ChiefOS. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ChiefOS to:

• Engage in any illegal activity or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Send spam, harassing, or abusive messages through the service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service.
• Use the service to process data in violation of any third-party terms, including Google's Terms of Service.
• Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
• Use the service on behalf of a third party without their explicit consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

5. AI-Generated Content and Limitations of Liability

ChiefOS uses artificial intelligence to generate briefings, draft emails, and provide recommendations. While we strive for accuracy, you acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions.
• ChiefOS does not guarantee the correctness of any briefing, email draft, or recommendation.
• You are responsible for reviewing and approving all actions before they are executed (e.g., sending emails, modifying calendar events).
• ChiefOS is a productivity tool, not a substitute for professional judgment in legal, financial, medical, or other specialized domains.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChiefOS and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed meetings, lost opportunities, or miscommunications resulting from AI-generated content.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to ChiefOS in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of ChiefOS is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using ChiefOS, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to have access to ChiefOS until then.

• No cancellation fees or penalties apply.
• No long-term contracts are required.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access for the remainder of the period you have already paid for.
• Your data is permanently deleted within 30 days of cancellation, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

ChiefOS, including its software, branding, and documentation, is the property of ChiefOS and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose during your active subscription.

You retain ownership of all data you provide to ChiefOS, including your emails, calendar events, and documents.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. ChiefOS may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of ChiefOS after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If you do not agree with the updated terms, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ChiefOS shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, unless otherwise required by local law.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
